Find your bookmarks

Remember the idea. Pinport helps you get back to the page.

Use the search field at the top of your library. Try a title, a domain, a word from your notes, or a description such as “tools for choosing accessible colors.” Pinport combines semantic search with keyword matching.

Try a more specific thought.

“Design” is broad. “How to choose accessible colors for a website” gives search more context. Exact names and domains are useful when you already know what you want.

Narrow it with tags

Choose tags before or after searching. Results must match every selected tag. Remove a tag to widen your search, or clear search and filters to return to your library.

What Pinport can search

Titles, URLs, your notes, and tags help Pinport find your bookmarks. Where a saved page can be fetched, its text also helps semantic search. Recently imported pages need time to be processed. Page-content indexing depends on your plan and its monthly allowance; legacy lifetime accounts search bookmark metadata.

Pages behind a login, pages that block automated access, and pages that rely entirely on scripts may have little or no searchable content. A useful title and a short note help you find those links later. About PinportBot.

If a bookmark does not appear

  1. Clear tag, Untagged, and Needs attention filters.
  2. Try a distinctive word from the title, note, or URL.
  3. Check that you are signed in to the same account on the website and extension.
  4. For a recent import, give background processing time. Try its title or URL meanwhile.
  5. Check your connection and reload if another device has just changed the library.

Search shows ranked matches, not necessarily every saved link. Clear the query to browse the full collection. If AI search is unavailable, keyword search provides a fallback.

Search from the address bar

With the desktop extension connected, type b followed by a space or Tab in the browser’s address bar, then your search. Choose a suggestion to open it. Address-bar setup and shortcuts →
