Creating an Account

To start using Pinport, create an account first. This will allow you to save and access your bookmarks from any device.

Installing the Browser Extension

The Pinport browser extension enhances your experience by providing:

• One-click bookmark saving from any webpage
• Quick access to your bookmarks from the browser's address bar
• Automatic metadata extraction when saving bookmarks

After Installation

1. Pin the extension to your browser toolbar for easy access
2. Click the extension icon and log in with your Pinport account
3. Grant any required permissions to enable all features

For browsers not listed above or not based on Chromium, you can use our bookmarklet to add bookmarks.

Installing the App on a Mobile Device

The Pinport mobile app lets you:

• Access your bookmarks on the go
• Share links between apps (like WhatsApp, Twitter, etc.)
• Add new bookmarks from any app using the share menu
• Organize your bookmarks with tags even when offline

PWA Installation on Chrome and Chromium-based Browsers

1. Open pinport.app in your Chrome mobile browser
2. Tap the menu button (three dots) in the top right corner
3. Select Add to Home Screen
4. Tap Install to confirm

PWA Installation on Safari (iOS)

1. Open pinport.app in Safari
2. Tap the share button (square with arrow) at the bottom of the screen
3. Select Add to Home Screen
4. Tap Add to confirm
