The Pinport guide
Getting started
Start with a link you care about. Everything else can wait.
Open setup to import bookmarks, try tags, and install the extension. Every step is optional. You can return from Settings → Apps & help.
Create your account
Sign up with email, Google, or Microsoft, then choose a plan. Pinport requires a subscription; new accounts can start a 7-day trial. A payment method is required and the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel. See plans and trial terms.
Bring your bookmarks, or save one new link
Already have a collection? Import it from your browser, Raindrop, or another bookmark manager. Folder names become tags. You can preview the import first.
Starting fresh? Open your library, choose New bookmark, and paste a website URL. Give it a useful title, add a note about why you saved it, and choose Save. Tags are optional.
Find it again
Search for a name, a topic, or an idea you remember. Add a tag filter to narrow the results. A bookmark with Design and Read later appears when you select either tag, and also when you select both.

Choose Design, then Read later. Only the bookmark with both tags remains. Click a selected tag to remove that filter.

Install the browser extension
Pinport has extensions for desktop Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. Install one, pin it to your toolbar, open it, and choose Connect Pinport. Sign in on the website and approve the connection, then return to the extension.

Firefoxextension (opens in a new tab)Open a page you want to keep and choose Save page in the extension, or right-click a page or link and choose Save to Pinport…. Review the title, notes, and tags before saving. If asked, allow access to the current tab so the extension can read its URL.
The website and extension sign in separately. Use the same account in both. If the store version looks different, update it; direct browser import requires a compatible version. Safari users can use the bookmarklet.
On your phone or tablet
Open Pinport in your mobile browser and sign in to the same account. Use your browser’s Add to Home Screen or install action for quick access. In Safari on iPhone or iPad, look in the Share menu. The available install actions vary by browser and operating system.
Copy a link from another app, open Pinport, and paste it into a new bookmark. Where your installed app appears in the system share menu, you can send the link directly. If it does not appear, copying and pasting works without share integration.
On your desktop
Use Pinport in any modern browser. If your browser offers an install or open-as-app action in its menu or address bar, you can give Pinport its own window. Otherwise, bookmark the library or pin its tab.
